went to kinokuniya at ngee ann city today, to get the book, the five people you meet in heaven. i realised the books written by mitch albom are touching and interesting, and reading it really makes an impact, so i decided to buy and not borrow so i can read it over again. i felt really touched after reading tuesdays with morrie( completed it within two days as it is so touching i couldnt stop! ) the lessons taught in the book are really valuable and i've learnt to treasure life more. and i'm gonna start with for one more day soon.
im getting holidays though im having attachment in school. have to go back to school on several days though, but its ok. decided to work during the 2 weeks( though theres 3 weeks of holidays ), and went for a walk-in interview today at ngee ann city which doesnt seem like an interview as the waitress just told me and my friend to leave our names down and if we are selected, they will contact us. will be going for another interview next tuesday at changi airport terminal 3, a new outlet( Select ) is opening there and i guess they need crews to work for them. hoping ill get the job for the one at terminal 3, cos better environment means better pay?
Christmas is coming and i've been reflecting what i've done this year, - it has been a meaningful year for me, i've finally caught up with my bestest friend during sec school day( since the last time we met, it was in 2005 ), and really spent times with her. accomplishments, results are doing fine. special events, baby Sophia is born( 22 nov 07 ). friendship - Shannon, Jessica ( thanks for all that you've done ). family - mum, i truly appreciate what you've done to the family, dad - thanks for caring. sis - thanks for sharing. bro - spend more time with me please! and last but not least, God - thanks for watching over me.
In life, we'll meet with ups and downs, and how are we going to handle the situation when things doesnt seem right. the process is important, not the outcome.
Year 2008 will definitely be a better year! i know it will!
