CNY shopping!~

I'm finally done with my CNY shopping!~

I've gotten a few clothes online for CNY and I'm loving each of them!~ Will post more pictures of those in my CNY post, so do stay tuned! =)

I went to bugis hoping to get some hair accessories(and yes, I've gotten them) and also shoes.. walked around bugis street and couldnt find any that suits my criteria for a pair of comfy shoes, so I headed to Iluma with Ting Fang, hoping to get comfy ones. She intro-ed me design and comfort(D&C) and I'm loving the shoes I bought!~ spells comfort~ =)






yay! I'm so happy with these two pairs! got discount somemore, the more you buy the more discount!~ go check out D&C now, before the sale is over! heehee..

I'm exceptionally happy today, my uncle brought my little cousins over to take some stuff and I entertained them with monopoly, although it isn't a long game but still happy to see them.. =)


I'm gonna share some hair accessories I bought.. I really love them. so stay tuned to this space!
although I hardly blog nowadays due to hectic long hours in school, making me lethargic everytime I get back home.. hmmm, but I promise I will be updating this little space of mine more frequently in future!

and I've found a job! =)

so in the CNY mood now..

I'm so in the CNY mood now, in a weeks time, we gonna celebrate CNY!~ Yipee! Might be heading to Chinatown with mum tomorrow to experience the CNY festive mood first, because if I head there during CNY, I think I cannot breathe. Tried that before and it was .. I dont wish to elaborate.

Going to school tomorrow in the late afternoon for some networking session. I'm left with 5 more school days and 3 more UT days before I say sayonara to RP. Think I'm going to miss the school life.

Proceeding into work life end feb, hope all things go well. Studies wise, confirm will further my studies but maybe gain work experience for a year first before really deciding if I want to further my studies in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Science.

I think its a great decision to make and only when I proceed to work life then I will know what kind of skills I wish to acquire and from there on make more important decisions regarding studies.

More updates soon! BBQ on sat to celebrate Ting Fang and Arnold's 21st. Hope it will be a blast and a memorable one for them. =)

Genting Trip(31/12/2010-02/01/2011)

Hi all,

am back to do a short update on my trip to Genting a few days back. This trip was a better one compared to the one in August(which I didn't blog about) because my August trip there was an unfulfilling one(which I vomitted twice there) and hence wasn't in the mood to blog about the August trip.

This time round, my sis friend went there and we were able to meet up with her and tried out some stuffs there.

We played the flying coaster and had my first time in bowling too. Initially, I didnt want to play bowling because I hadn't tried the sport and was a little embarrassed if I didn't do well, but they persuaded me to and hence I tried the sport and I didn't regret after trying it as it was quite fun.

Hmmmm. Meals wise, for the first day I went there, we had burger king which isnt that awesome(I felt Singapore's BK is better) and cost us around RM38. Quite expensive for just two meals. Went to Ying Hua Gong for dinner with 2 of my aunties and 1 uncle(my big aunt's husband). Supper was pizza from the cafe at Genting Hotel.

Breakfast for the 2nd day was at the 24th storey of First World's hotel and everything was cold there. Grrrr. Lunch was at Old Town White Coffee and me and sis had prawn noodles with soup. Ordered ice mocha and made me really bloated. Before lunch, we actually went for a little shopping and I kinda regret buying the shoes from Genting which caused my feet to have blisters, first time and last time wearing that shoe. Gonna sell off because I think I bought the wrong size, should have gotten one size bigger, oh wells! As usual, dinner was at Ying Hua Gong again.

3rd day's breakfast was also at Ying Hua Gong. I had 3 meals there for this trip to Genting. And after breakfast, took the Sri Maju's coach back to Singapore. Really liked Sri Maju's coach better than WTS! WTS coach made me puke because I was so giddy after the entire trip when I arrived at Genting and the tour guide also told us the wrong time to board the bus for departure too. Made me gobble down my food on the departure day and caused us some inconvenience.

I'm finally free from FYP!~




and the next to anticipate would be my graduation! =) but before my graduation, I should be going for internship for probably around 2 months. Hope to get a good placement. it feels kinda relaxing after getting a burden off your shoulders. I really hope to do well in FYP2.

Caught Rapunzel with Ting Fang awhile back and I should say that its nice, 3.5/5 popcorns! =)



I'm going to genting on 31st December but I'm not the least excited. Spend counting down for 2010 last year there too and I'm doing the same thing again. I'm being dragged there by my mother. LOL. but still hope to get to play the outdoor theme park since my sis's friend should be there too. I might be going for a cruise on 7Jan but this is not confirmed yet. Most probably will and I think I should be studying for one of my modules on the ship. But, I think will prepare beforehand. =)

A stay at MBS!~

had the opportunity to stay at Marina Bay Sands awhile back but because I had no one to accompany me, except for my aunt, I didnt go during that time. And on deepavali, 5th Nov, I had another chance to go and this time round, Hazel and Mum were available so we grasp the opportunity!~

we had breakfast at the top level of marina bay sands shopping mall, its called RISE and apparently, having breakfast there for 4 pax cost around $170. Hmmmm, worth it or no?
enjoyed the breakfast there though!

surprised Yin Fong with a birthday cake when she wanted to go to Botanic Gardens. We followed where she wanted to go since it was her birthday so we let her call the shots.

Mum's birthday, which is also on the same day as Yin Fong.
Went to Mellben Seafood Restaurant located somewhere at Ang Mo Kio for dinner..







The chilli crab cost us $60! The taste wasn't what we expected, mum's crabs way better!
but the bee hoon was good. sea cucumber got those "sea smell" and cost $20, like not worth the money, dinner was altogether $140++.
and fyi, the place itself got a lot of people, and we even had to queue like 20minutes to get in but the food there was really only average, in my opinion.
but overall, we were 50% satisfied I would say.

I guess I would have to stay home during weekends to complete my fyp report and also mug for test coming up, but next week, because I only have 3 days lesson for this semester, and friday happens to be Deepavali, I'm only required to go to school for 2 days!
