went to sitex fair yesterday and mum bought a printer for us! Its Canon Pixma MP568!
Yipee. Can print photos at home. coolsome!! =)
and also a new home phone from panasonic.
Panasonic gadgets can last so so so long..
my previous home phone which we are using for a long time(think 6-7 years is still working), but gonna break down soon and hence she bought a new phone, which is the same model, haha, we are total fans of panasonic!

2 more weeks and its holidays!!

a short update.

I'm having my UTs these 3 weeks and I'm done with 3 of them. 2 more to go. Really praying hard that genetics UT will be manageable. I had 3 UTs in a week and I kept complaining to my mum that I was really tired after school. RP works on a basis that you have to be in school the whole day. Like 915am-4pm. So normally when I get back, it's already 5pm. I hope this semester will end soon. 5modules=5days a week in school and it's really hectic.

Genting Trip has already been confirmed. I know my friends who are reading this will be saying, "huh? again!!?" but I had no choice but to go as there's free lodging and mum doesn't allow me to stay in Singapore alone. Will be heading there on new year's eve. Heard that there will be 15 minutes of fireworks when counting down to new year. Hmmm. Sounds great. Another thing is, I have to go there and study for 2 of my UTs which falls on the 4th and 5th of Jan. I will only be back on 3rd Jan. I will plan my time well when I'm there.

Dad's birthday on wed. 4th nov. As usual. Dinner's out. Thai food's great! and at a affordable rate too. $48 for 5pax. It depends on what you order. These are some that we ordered. And it was sis who treated us for this meal. My turn next!! lol.

the little details that makes me smile.

I remembered telling you guys in my older post that I enjoy having chocolates. And not just the normal chocolates, but GODIVA's. I heard from my friend that it's kinda expensive. And if you know me well enough, I won't spend so much on food. My aunt knows that I love chocolates and she always brings GODIVA's chocolates to me. Thanks to her for that. =)

btw, mum just came back from Hapchai not too long ago and she got me some cosmetics and skin products! I love the smell.. Its from Oriental Princess and it works tremendously well.
I applied the acne gel as I was having a few zits here and there and awhile later, the zits got smaller. coolsome!

the wallet that Yin Fong got me during my last birthday cannot "tolerate" any longer. The yellow peelings all coming off and I can't stand the sight of them. And so, I went to hunt for a wallet together with Shannon last saturday and I got myself this:

and other than the wallet, we went to rubi located at citylink and both of us got a pair of identical shoes for $25. its so affordable and comfy! will buy pumps from there in the future!
so hard to find comfy pumps but rubi gives us alot of choices to choose from! I like! =)

I hate the feeling..

of being picked at. And feeling remorse after that. Why am I feeling this way after my team's presentation today? I'm not blaming anyone, not my team members, not the facilitator.
It's just not my day.



I hate this feeling, please go away.

what I've been up to..

School has since started and I'm into my first week. Everything seems fine, just different classmates everyday but I thought it would be better this way. Making more friends and getting to know people better sounds good too. And not the usual 4 day week for me, but 5 days. 5 modules. I love genetics though it's my elective!


Had 2 birthday celebrations this week. Firstly was mum's whose birthday falls on 7oct. We had a simple dinner at 金隆 located at bedok. We wanted to go to blk84 but it was under renovation, so we went to the other side and was hoping 天外天 had opened but it didnt. It was quite dampening of the mood and 金隆's food was just so-so. We always had discounts at 天外天 as my mum knows the owner.. and their food is so much better than 金隆's. I bought mum a cake! sweet secrets.




The next birthday celebration is Yin Fong's, whose birthday falls on the same day as my mum's. I couldnt have dinner with her on the actual day itself as it happens to be my mum's so I had dinner with her the next day instead. Together with Jessica and 2 NDP peeps, we had dinner at the Pepper Lunch, my first time there and it gave me a good impression. Didnt bring my camera along! Ah.. so no pictures!


Just finished packing all the bomber jackets and had them mailed yesterday. Hope the gals love it as much as I do(although I didnt get it).


Mum just went to Hapchai(thailand) on friday morning and I'm still waiting for her to come back. Hope there will be alot of goodies later. I wanna go BKK! Hope mum will plan it to go together with my paternal side of the family. She has been talking about it. End of the year perhaps?

Dinner at The Manhanttan Fish Market at Marina Square on Monday evening. It was a great time of catching up with the girlfriends and the food there was great too. We even had some laughs with the waitress serving us and yes, their service rate is excellent. Will definitely go back there again.

hope everything goes smoothly for Jessica. Sometimes life may be tough and sometimes things may upset us, but we still choose to be happy everyday. Instead of being upset, why not choose happiness. I've found someone who is interested in my polaroid camera! Hope this owner will treat it well and make full use of it. Though I bought this camera without using it as the films are costly, but somehow I've grown a little attached to it. Gonna leave it tomorrow and pass it to that someone who probably will use it and take nice nice pictures!

I will be saving and scrimping for the rest of this year. Gonna get a good mobile when my plan expires next year. Nokia or Sony Ericsson? I'm thinking of getting Nokia.. Any opinions?

And yes! I've rebonded my hair last friday!! =) 

the movie that I felt was worth it.

caught the time traveller's wife last wednesday.. together with Shannon at The Cathay. The show was kinda long.. 110mins.. but it was kinda touching too..I might want to get the book too. We also went for a small shopping spree after the show. And we spent like an hour plus at cotton on's. Then in the end, we only managed to get leggings for ourselves. Kinda funny as we were trying a few pieces of clothings and went to the fitting room a couple of times. They were actually having a 50% off selected items, but their sizing are either too big or doesnt suit us, else we find the price not too worth it for certain pieces. I found what I wanna get for the longest time at Plaza Sing!! At an affordable price too.. =)

Last thurs, 17th september was sister's birthday..

We went for duck tours, "quack quack" as we had 3 free vouchers.

Let me share my experience on the duck tours..

it was low tide during that day..

couldnt take pics with sis as she was sitting 2 seats in front of us.. as we were the last to get onto the "vehicle".

 

 

we could see the whole of marina bay floating platform.. how colourful!

 

 

 

 

It was actually kinda boring as the whole journey takes about 50mins-60mins..

But thereafter, we celebrated sis birthday.. 

went to Swensen's to celebrate her birthday..had dinner there too..

my baked Salmon and mushroom rice was.. not that appealing..

but.. Hope she enjoyed her birthday!!

Marina Barrage.

 My family decided to go Marina Barrage on a saturday evening. I quite like the place there, it brings me closer to nature and while walking along the long pathway, it brings the family a little more closer with conversations. I've always like greenery and nature and would love to explore more parts in Singapore which fulfils what I expect. The sense of closeness makes the heart warm.

 

 

 

 

 

and we also went to look at the purpose of building marina barrage.. quite interesting though..

and went to Bedok84 for dinner, satay, bbq chicken, bah chor mee, stingray, oyster egg(o lua), and ngoh hiang hei pia.. yums yums!! =)

a tinge of coldness.

Shannon and I went to Flea Titans today! Lol. Dempsey Road is really secluded. We had to take cab out when we are done window shopping there. We totally didnt buy anything down there as the clothes are are out of trend for most stalls. I remembered her telling me, we forever cannot follow the trend as it keeps changing and I totally agree with her. Just wear what you feel that is nice and appropriate and most importantly, that you feel comfortable in. I agree no more! We hop onto AMK hub thereafter and I finally got my wanted sandals. Shall take pics with it soon! She gotten herself polo shirts and other stuffs too. And we reckoned that AMK hub is a better shopping paradise compared to the flea. The weather was so scorching and we had to walk quite a distance to take the shuttle bus there.

We decided to indulge ourselves with Anderson's Ice Cream..

I love Anderson's Ice Cream. She couldnt finish hers though..

I enjoyed my day and am looking forward to wednesday.

Movie time!! =) Anyway, I just watched Jonas Brothers: The concert in experience and also Evan Almighty this week. mio tv had the Jonas Brothers movie on channel 316 so I watched it.. Mum just cancelled SCV as they keep increasing their price for nothing.
The movie Evan Almighty was very touching. Genesis 6:14. Noah's Ark. A great show of faith.
