a tinge of coldness.

Shannon and I went to Flea Titans today! Lol. Dempsey Road is really secluded. We had to take cab out when we are done window shopping there. We totally didnt buy anything down there as the clothes are are out of trend for most stalls. I remembered her telling me, we forever cannot follow the trend as it keeps changing and I totally agree with her. Just wear what you feel that is nice and appropriate and most importantly, that you feel comfortable in. I agree no more! We hop onto AMK hub thereafter and I finally got my wanted sandals. Shall take pics with it soon! She gotten herself polo shirts and other stuffs too. And we reckoned that AMK hub is a better shopping paradise compared to the flea. The weather was so scorching and we had to walk quite a distance to take the shuttle bus there.

We decided to indulge ourselves with Anderson's Ice Cream..

I love Anderson's Ice Cream. She couldnt finish hers though..

I enjoyed my day and am looking forward to wednesday.

Movie time!! =) Anyway, I just watched Jonas Brothers: The concert in experience and also Evan Almighty this week. mio tv had the Jonas Brothers movie on channel 316 so I watched it.. Mum just cancelled SCV as they keep increasing their price for nothing.
The movie Evan Almighty was very touching. Genesis 6:14. Noah's Ark. A great show of faith.

my thoughts.

Everytime I do online shopping at home, most of the time I want to get something because the dresses or tops are so nice.. but I always ask myself, do I really need them? My dad always say you should sell and not buy because I still have 3 toyo boxes of clothes which have not been sold yet. I've already lowered their prices and its not as easy to sell as you can think of. Looking at those models posing blogshop clothes, I always have the urge to get 1 or 2 of them. http://daintycloset.livejournal.com is clearing her stocks, at really low prices, do support if possible! =)

In the end, sometimes if I really don't want to buy, I will never get any for a few months. If I really want to get, I can get maximum 5 pieces at one go. Right now my aim is to scrimp and save as much as I can and my friends can get shock as to how I can survive without my atm card in my wallet. I can. It hasnt been in my wallet for very long already. 

I wont be getting a driving license. I thought I wanted to get it but when I missed my basic theory due to some circumstances which are unpredictable, I asked myself am I really sure I didnt want to get and yes, I wont be getting anytime now, unless I can afford to buy a car next time then I might really consider. I dont want to use dad's car to drive. It quite scary before he changed his car to the Toyota one. When me and mum were in his mazda car one day after having lunch at muthu's curry at Little India, he met with a small accident..

The person in front of him suddenly came to a halt without any signals. Dad was talking to me and didnt realise that the person suddenly braked. And so, the bumper of the front car was a little damaged. I was a little pissed at that time and my face turned black as I didnt thought dad was at fault too. He just didnt realise when they came to a halt. Our car had a few scratches in front. And a few days after the incident happen, another thing happened too.. I remembered this happen around CNY this year..

I smelt something very pungent while dad was driving us home. It came from the front of the car. When we reached home, I came down of the car and realised that there was smoke coming out from the front. Our 8 year old mazda has died on us that day. This was the last time I sat on that mazda.
Dad changed car thereafter and we are happy with our toyota so far. Sis has been telling mum that she wants to take her driving license. She's officially 18 on 17th september and so I guess I might have to book her basic theory for her soon. We'll see how it goes. 

There are alot of things going in my mind recently. Like what will I be doing after I graduate from poly. I might just want to work full time and study part time after I graduate. Hopefully, to continue studying Pharmacy after I graduate. I dont think I want to go to NIE to further my studies. You have to actually spend 6 years in teaching if you were to study in NIE. Thats long! I just want to fulfil my dream of becoming a qualified pharmacist in hospital, or maybe to sell medicines to industries or to do research in laboratories? We'll see how.. I still have 3 semesters to complete.

About church. I hope I can go back once this christmas. Mum has been really strict about this. She hopes I can complete my education in poly then she will allow me to go back. Now I just have to prove to her that I can do well in poly and she will allow. I've been pushing myself this semester and will be pushing myself harder next semester. I just wanna do well so I can bring honor to them and also glorify my Father in heaven. " As you sow, you will reap! "

Prays that everything goes well for me and when troubles or problems come as they sometimes will, lets lift up our troubles to the Lord because He cares for us. A door will be open whenever we knock.

3rd day of the week.

accompanied Shannon to bugis as she wanted to go to Bugis street to get some stuffs. All the cheap bargains are there. One thing I like about bugis is the variety that they have there, and their prices are all reasonable, but the other thing that I don't is that the material there can be quite rough for some quality of their clothes. 

5th day of the week
 

at Mind Cafe. We went there to play some board games and the good thing about that cafe is you get free flow of drinks at $5++/pax from 2-6pm. We met up at 3pm at bugis mrt and headed there. Its quite near the NLB, at a small area in the alley. The NDP peeps also celebrated Darren's belated birthday.

 

7th day of the week

I just came back from expo. Sis and mum plus me went to John Little's expo sales and we also went to the food fair there. I think mum spent around 20bucks on food from the food fair.. we got some great buys from John Little too.

zzz. I need to do something about my hair. Gonna rebond it soon. I dislike natural curls. 

Genting.

day 1

arrived at Genting at around 8pm. Had dinner at Genting Malaysia Berhad Pizza Cafe, I had pasta while sis and mum had pizza. The pasta was up to my standard. Went to takeaway KFC as sis was still hungry. The hotel that we stayed in was bigger than expected as we were staying at the clubroom at First World Hotel. As told by others, the standard room in First World Hotel is very small. We went back to the hotel for the KFC but the TV programs there are very boring. 

 

day 2 

woke up quite early and went to have breakfast at the 24th storey of the hotel. Went shopping after that and bought some hair accessories. Went into the casino and was hoping someone was singing but the time they normally sing is during the evening to night time. I was too early. Had a nap after that. Dinner wasn't as good as I've expected. The Pizza Hut there isn't as good as the one here in Singapore. One regular pepperoni cheese cost RM24, which is so expensive! Furthermore, the taste was a bit bland too. We spent quite a sum on food for takeaways during lunch and dinner. Sis was sick and poor me and mum have to buy takeaways while she rested in the hotel.

day 3

I slept quite a lot on day 3. We didn't have breakfast. Went to mushroom garden to have lunch and the chinese food there is not bad. We had to take a mini van to the mushroom garden. Sis was taken ill on day 2 in genting and of course, she doesn't feel like playing the outdoor theme park with me so I felt obliged not to play too. Hope the one in Singapore in the future would be better than the one in Genting. We went to have ice cream at Baskin Robbins in the late afternoon and it's quite nice though not as good as Ben and Jerry's. Dinner at the Shanghai restaurant at First World but the service quality there is really bad. We have to wait like 10 minutes for their menu and food there isn't good as well. 

 

  

  

 

day 4

had breakfast at the 24th storey again. Watched TV for awhile(they were playing some Singapore drama) and headed back to Singapore. Reached home at around 5+pm.

Botanic Gardens. >.<

I finally fixed my blog. I didn't know there's a new format till I went to the settings site. Anyways, me and Shannon went to Botanic Gardens last wed, 2 sept.

just a short update.

I just collected 5 dresses yesterday. Indulged myself with some retail therapy online. Weets! As it has been awhile since I've shopped online. Went botanic gardens with Shannon yesterday and we went town to window shop. Town is so bor-ing now..

I'm leaving singapore tomorrow for a short getaway to Genting. Again! Haha. I really love the weather there. And I'm officially 21 so I might just go into the casino? But no playing I guess. Just wanna go in to hear some amazing voices they have there. Some have really great voices. Blogger is giving me problems and I cant post pictures. When will this problem be resolved?

UP!!

caught UP! with Shannon on tuesday night after school. It was a great movie and had a enjoyable time with her. had some shopping with her over at ion orchard, and yes, the things there are super duper expensive! Shannon got herself 2 clothings from wisma and I hope she likes both.






had long john silver's for dinner and it gave me a terrible tummy upset! =(
but the movie made my day though!
our next destination would be the Botanic Gardens. Teehee!

my hp is spoilt. am wondering should I get a new one or wait till the plan ends then get a new one as it will be at a cheaper price if it were to be with plan. I need a spare phone. I don't feel like repairing the lousy w910i. too many problems it has given me and now its the worst problem. 3 main buttons arent working. wheres my old charger?! maybe going back to dig out my old phone and use it for 8months before the plan ends.

I'm quite emotional this week.

I really dont know why. =(
