Sorry if i haven't been blogging so often as I'm quite busy with work.. Normally after work, I'll be quite tired already hence this speaks of the little posts I have.. But it's quite enriching having to work for this line. I'm blogging on my mobile now as it's quite convenient.. Having to be able to catch up with my buddies will be like a once a month event. We met on 6 aug and went to let's sweet for dinner.. And we're going to meet on 10 sept for jap buffet.. I'm so looking forward to it.. And we also went to universal studios on 11 July and gad real great fun there.. I'm so glad that everyone enjoyed. :) will be back for more updates! ;)

hello! havent been updating this mundane space of mine for some time.. so here I'm back! have been busy with work learning the ropes in the new environment, but I'm loving what I'm doing and I know that I will stay in this line for long =) Some thoughts about the working environment, I think we really need to treasure the amount of stuffs that we can learn so that we can bring it along with us and use it whenever we need to. Although work can be like a routine thing everyday, but I think we can learn little bits of knowledge everyday and make it to full use whenever we need to. =)

Sidetrack a bit, I think I havent been relaxing myself after 2 months of working. So I made use of the good friday public holiday to do some shopping. Sis came along with me too, and to thank her for that, I gave her a treat from starbucks, I think she had mango passionfruit ice blend while I had my usual mocha frappucino.

On a side note, my graduation ceremony will be held on 12th May. Gonna prepare myself for this and be at my best. Been anticipating this day and I'm so glad I made it thus far.

I'll try to update this little space of mine as frequent as possible! =)

this song depicts on how I felt in my previous relationship. was painful and like a torture to me, but I've got over it.
many people have been popping the question as to why am I still not getting attached. I'm just not ready at the moment because relationship is not at my priority list(as yet). I hope to complete my studies and build up my career in the midst too. Having a relationship needs commitment and time spent being together, and I think with career and studies together, I might not be able to spent quality time with my other half. And I believe, that the Lord will place someone in your life at the right time. =)

I'm currently into my 1st week at work and I'm loving what I'm doing since it's related to my field of study. =)

I'm loving what I'm learning and experiencing and I really thank God that he place someone close to me to work with me as well. It's really nice to know someone's always there for you when you need a listening ear to whatever problems that you're facing.

work aside, I've been pampering myself after the exams!

rather quiet for me because I only went to my paternal's side for house visiting. Wanted to go to my maternal's side to visit too but mum left the house when I was sleeping..

didnt manage to take pictures at my paternal's side because no one took pictures at all, feels a little weird if I'm the only one taking pictures. Visiting only done on chu yi..

hence, didnt take pictures on my CNY clothes and shoes.. but hopefully next year will be a blast!

I promise I will take pictures next year during CNY..!

A reminder for myself to take pictures during the reunion dinner at home too.. =)

I'm finally done with my CNY shopping!~

I've gotten a few clothes online for CNY and I'm loving each of them!~ Will post more pictures of those in my CNY post, so do stay tuned! =)

I went to bugis hoping to get some hair accessories(and yes, I've gotten them) and also shoes.. walked around bugis street and couldnt find any that suits my criteria for a pair of comfy shoes, so I headed to Iluma with Ting Fang, hoping to get comfy ones. She intro-ed me design and comfort(D&C) and I'm loving the shoes I bought!~ spells comfort~ =)

yay! I'm so happy with these two pairs! got discount somemore, the more you buy the more discount!~ go check out D&C now, before the sale is over! heehee..

I'm exceptionally happy today, my uncle brought my little cousins over to take some stuff and I entertained them with monopoly, although it isn't a long game but still happy to see them.. =)

I'm gonna share some hair accessories I bought.. I really love them. so stay tuned to this space!
although I hardly blog nowadays due to hectic long hours in school, making me lethargic everytime I get back home.. hmmm, but I promise I will be updating this little space of mine more frequently in future!

I'm so in the CNY mood now, in a weeks time, we gonna celebrate CNY!~ Yipee! Might be heading to Chinatown with mum tomorrow to experience the CNY festive mood first, because if I head there during CNY, I think I cannot breathe. Tried that before and it was .. I dont wish to elaborate.

Going to school tomorrow in the late afternoon for some networking session. I'm left with 5 more school days and 3 more UT days before I say sayonara to RP. Think I'm going to miss the school life.

Proceeding into work life end feb, hope all things go well. Studies wise, confirm will further my studies but maybe gain work experience for a year first before really deciding if I want to further my studies in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Science.

I think its a great decision to make and only when I proceed to work life then I will know what kind of skills I wish to acquire and from there on make more important decisions regarding studies.

More updates soon! BBQ on sat to celebrate Ting Fang and Arnold's 21st. Hope it will be a blast and a memorable one for them. =)

Hi all,

am back to do a short update on my trip to Genting a few days back. This trip was a better one compared to the one in August(which I didn't blog about) because my August trip there was an unfulfilling one(which I vomitted twice there) and hence wasn't in the mood to blog about the August trip.

This time round, my sis friend went there and we were able to meet up with her and tried out some stuffs there.

We played the flying coaster and had my first time in bowling too. Initially, I didnt want to play bowling because I hadn't tried the sport and was a little embarrassed if I didn't do well, but they persuaded me to and hence I tried the sport and I didn't regret after trying it as it was quite fun.

Hmmmm. Meals wise, for the first day I went there, we had burger king which isnt that awesome(I felt Singapore's BK is better) and cost us around RM38. Quite expensive for just two meals. Went to Ying Hua Gong for dinner with 2 of my aunties and 1 uncle(my big aunt's husband). Supper was pizza from the cafe at Genting Hotel.

Breakfast for the 2nd day was at the 24th storey of First World's hotel and everything was cold there. Grrrr. Lunch was at Old Town White Coffee and me and sis had prawn noodles with soup. Ordered ice mocha and made me really bloated. Before lunch, we actually went for a little shopping and I kinda regret buying the shoes from Genting which caused my feet to have blisters, first time and last time wearing that shoe. Gonna sell off because I think I bought the wrong size, should have gotten one size bigger, oh wells! As usual, dinner was at Ying Hua Gong again.

3rd day's breakfast was also at Ying Hua Gong. I had 3 meals there for this trip to Genting. And after breakfast, took the Sri Maju's coach back to Singapore. Really liked Sri Maju's coach better than WTS! WTS coach made me puke because I was so giddy after the entire trip when I arrived at Genting and the tour guide also told us the wrong time to board the bus for departure too. Made me gobble down my food on the departure day and caused us some inconvenience.

I'm finally free from FYP!~

and the next to anticipate would be my graduation! =) but before my graduation, I should be going for internship for probably around 2 months. Hope to get a good placement. it feels kinda relaxing after getting a burden off your shoulders. I really hope to do well in FYP2.

Caught Rapunzel with Ting Fang awhile back and I should say that its nice, 3.5/5 popcorns! =)

I'm going to genting on 31st December but I'm not the least excited. Spend counting down for 2010 last year there too and I'm doing the same thing again. I'm being dragged there by my mother. LOL. but still hope to get to play the outdoor theme park since my sis's friend should be there too. I might be going for a cruise on 7Jan but this is not confirmed yet. Most probably will and I think I should be studying for one of my modules on the ship. But, I think will prepare beforehand. =)

A stay at MBS!~

had the opportunity to stay at Marina Bay Sands awhile back but because I had no one to accompany me, except for my aunt, I didnt go during that time. And on deepavali, 5th Nov, I had another chance to go and this time round, Hazel and Mum were available so we grasp the opportunity!~

we had breakfast at the top level of marina bay sands shopping mall, its called RISE and apparently, having breakfast there for 4 pax cost around $170. Hmmmm, worth it or no?

surprised Yin Fong with a birthday cake when she wanted to go to Botanic Gardens. We followed where she wanted to go since it was her birthday so we let her call the shots.

we saw swans, they were only like 25cm away from us..

Mum's birthday, which is also on the same day as Yin Fong.
Went to Mellben Seafood Restaurant located somewhere at Ang Mo Kio for dinner..

The chilli crab cost us $60! The taste wasn't what we expected, mum's crabs way better!
but the bee hoon was good. sea cucumber got those "sea smell" and cost $20, like not worth the money, dinner was altogether $140++.
and fyi, the place itself got a lot of people, and we even had to queue like 20minutes to get in but the food there was really only average, in my opinion.
but overall, we were 50% satisfied I would say.

I guess I would have to stay home during weekends to complete my fyp report and also mug for test coming up, but next week, because I only have 3 days lesson for this semester, and friday happens to be Deepavali, I'm only required to go to school for 2 days!

New Haircut!~

Just got a haircut on wednesday, 20Oct. Initially, I only wanted a haircut. But the haircut the stylist cut had a major problem. My upper part of my hair was so thick and the lower part was so thin.. made me look weird, hence after lunch with Yin Fong and Ting Fang, I went to rebond my hair, and it looked so much better, and, I now have a fringe! The two sweeties waited for me patiently for 3 hours during the rebonding process, thank you so much!~

Though I'm not very used to having a fringe, because I always have my hair pulled to the back, but guess this fringe gonna last me for a few months before I pull those fringe back.

Gonna edit this post with my new hairstyle.

Shopping for US Brands now is good because of the low exchange rate, gonna head to forever 21 with sis tomorrow and perhaps try some outfits out before I make any purchases online. I need more jeans as school forbids shorts.

I seriously dont have in mind what to blog right now. I only know I will be quite lonely for these 3 days while mum and hazel are off to crusing at superstar virgo. It was really a sudden trip and I couldnt make it because I've signed up for a career seminar tomorrow. Hope this seminar will be beneficial for me because I sacrificed the cruise trip.. A little sad but well.. there are other opportunities to go next time! =)

On a side note, I've been catching up with Shannon for quite a bit.. and she's getting cheerier every time I see her. Thats good I guess. Life has to move on after obstacles faced.

I'm planning on what I am going to do after I graduate. Thats a few months away and I feel a little pressurized. Should I part time study and full time work? Will I be able to cope this way? I'm just afraid that I will be super duper tired and no time to spend with friends and family. I was thinking of going out to the industry to work perhaps for a year or two before embarking on a new journey of academic studies again. We'll see.

School has started and this semester is less hectic for me. 3 modules = 3 days of school each week. More time to spend with family and friends, I've been neglecting them like when I had 5 modules in Year 2 Semester 2. Totally hectic, everyday is just study study study for me, really no life that time. And now that I've lesser modules to take, I will spend more quality time with them. Those moments are the times that I treasure most.

Will be meeting Shannon tomorrow after the seminar and I cant wait for our dinner! Hopefully I can wake up on time to go New Creation 1130am service on sunday. Pastor Joseph Prince sermon is totally amazing, and it lets me broaden some of my knowledge in the bible too. =)

I hope this loneliness will fade away tomorrow.

16th Sept
Met with Shannon at Far East and some catching up to do with her. Girls love shopping dont they? She got herself 2 leggings and 2 geeky specs for her niece and nephew while I've gotten myself two caps. Which is nicer? the black or cream?

Lunch was at somerset 313 having tako balls and honeydew snowshake from each a cup.

19th Sept
Went to Shannon's church. It's my second visit this time round.
After the service, went to get eskimo's milk tea for me and sis. I love their mini pearls! =)
chewy, chewy, chewy!

24th Sept
AMK hub with Shannon, main priority is to get KOI bubble tea..
Shannon got herself a pair of shoes at rubi, I wanted to get the brown wedges from there but in the end I didnt.
Went to get KOI's milk tea for sis and myself. $5.80 for Caramel and Hazelnut milktea, $2.90 each. Kinda pricey?

I enjoyed the food, but when I got home, I puked the sashimi out.. Maybe never put enough wasabi. I still feel Ichiban is better.. =) but suki sushi is good enough for me..

Have been revising for UT3 since 3 weeks back, the week after I came back from Genting. I didnt blog about Genting this time because I had a bad experience there, and sis too.. because we puked several times there..

After I alighted from the coach, I puked probably because I'm too hungry. I took the 545am bus at AMK(Jubilee) and sat all the way to YongPing, some place at Malaysia to rest and grab a bite.. Only had waffle that time and didn't bother to eat much as I had bread before eating the waffle. The reason why I puked was because I was too giddy going up the hill of Genting. As we all know, the vehicle have to move in circles.

back to my revision period. The only time that I get to really enjoy the day was the time when my class went for the Singapore Flyer trip. The rest of my holidays were burned doing revision for UT3 as well as FYP. The data collection process is really tedious and I hope that it will end soon.

I still have around 1 month of holiday to go and I would want to make full use of it. Meeting friends and catching up with them will be one of the things that I'm going to do. Shopping with Shannon on thursday, like finally both of us had time for each other to shop again! Hope she gets well from her illness soon.

I'm planning on how to not make myself a dull girl or mere girl. I wanna be in-between.

I've tried my best for UT3 and I hope my efforts are paid off! As you sow, you will reap. =)

Singapore Flyer Outing!~

The class had a gathering to go to Singapore Flyer and Marina Barrage.
but due to weather conditions and time constraints, we could only visit Singapore Flyer.

We kept on " snap, snap, snap !"

we had like 10 shots continuously..

guess everyone had fun =)

the view from the capsule itself was breathtaking.
we could even see the YOG flame.

hope to have more of this kind of outings in the future! =)

chocolate moulding workshop!~

its supposed to be chocolate making workshop..
but to me.. it's more like chocolate moulding workshop..

instead of making the real chocolate with its raw ingredients..

we were taught to remould the chocolate and mould it into the desired shape again..

apparently we have to melt the chocolate at 45 degree celsius, and for the first time, we went above 45 degrees celcius and had to cool down till 27 degrees celsius and then reheat to 45 degrees again..

reheated the chocolate to 45 degrees already, and have cooled the chocolate till 27 degrees celsius and now its ready to be re-moulded.

I cant stand the weather nowadays.
sometimes sunny, sometimes rainy.
making people sick because of the weather changes.
had sore throat yesterday and now my throat is fine.
and now the running nose came running over me.
I have to get well for my genting trip next saturday.
I'm praying for healing.

my family still agreed that Whampoa's rojak tastes better.

And thereafter,
my sis wanted to have Onan Road's curry puffs.
It was in the past when grandmother was still around and we often visited her private apartment at Joo Chiat and there was a time when mum cycled to Onan Road to get the curry puffs for us that have her craving for it once more..

I met Shannon today to go to church, it's my first time attending New Creation Church and I'm so glad that I've attended this service today, the word that Pastor Prince preached really gave me a direction to look forward to, a light that is leading me to the right path and it's through the word of God that really impacted my life.

I really pray for Shannon's healing and I know that she shall be made whole.
I know that nothing's impossible with God and my Lord will do so.
Went through the same phase and experience God's blessing in making me whole.
Shannon, God will walk with you through this journey no matter what.
it takes the faith to believe that the wholeness in the heart will be completely cared for and healed.

I screwed up my UT1 grades.. especially drug discovery and development. Its a totally new module to me and was only introduced to me recently. I probably need to work on the important points. Gonna stay back on friday to do revision with Wei How since he did quite well for the first UT. I'm gonna work smart for the 2nd UT.

Benjamin just booked out of camp last friday and Arnold suggested to have a meetup on saturday by sms-ing us. A pity Yin Fong can't make it, else she'll enjoy the day with us.

Its the start of the holidays! but.. it doesn't seem like holidays to me.. =(

so busy with FYP, like data collection and analysing of results.. report is due in 2 weeks and I'm only halfway done! Have been heading to Alexandra Hospital for FYP as this organization is my external collaborator. Looking at all my team members, we really went all out for this project.Some of them kept running to and fro to the hospital because we got so many data.. up to thousands to collect. Logbook and meeting record is another part that we have to keep on updating. I wanna rest, play and have fun. My schedule doesn't really allow me to do that.Glendson has been asking me for a tennis session, if time permits, I'll go.

My skin care regimen!

I've decided to do up a post on my skin care regimen since I've been neglecting this space for quite some time.

Cleanser+Toner+Moisturizer - Everyday regimen at least once a day.

If diligent enough, do it twice a day, once in the morning and once in the night.
I normally do it at night before I go to sleep.

Mum came back with skin care from Oriental Princess from Thailand when she visited there in Feb, and I'm loving the products because they either smells nice or work with immediate effect!

These are some items that she bought:
Sunblock, have yet to use it.

A sunblock is a must if you're going out in the day. I've always apply sunblock, currently using kawaii tokyo's daytime rescue, thats my old company but well! its really good. SPF 28. It's available in SPF 50 too, sun survivor.

body sprays and cream.
smell is very good in white flower. I have the green apple one too and I often spray it before I go to sleep. Its quite refreshing. =)

This will reduce reduce redness and inflammation and helps to conceal your acne and also dries it up. After your acne dries up, sometimes it heals by flaking off.

have yet to use this too.
as I'm using another cleanser from oriental princess and I do not have spots.
mum bought the spots corrector as sis has some little dark spots on her face. but I do not see her using. Will ask her to apply and see the effects soon!

Whole range of products. Theres more, but these are some.
I'm currently using another cleanser, not in this picture, as well as the orange cleanser in the middle. I like the after effect of using the cleanser, smooth after washing.

Other than all these, mum also bought some make up for me, like lipgloss and blusher.

I still have other skin care products from Borghese, Kose, the face shop and the body shop.
I use borghese face mud mask, which is a product that can wash off the dirt from your pores really well.
Kose facial mask which helps to clear off black heads and toner which needs to be applied after applying the facial mask, its black in colour, so sometimes when I apply it I tend to scare my family members off! haha. Imagine someone with a black face suddenly appear in front of you. You'll get a fright!

I recently bought these from the face shop.

I've used it once, and am going to use it again tonight, but I think it really works to get rid off some blackheads.

And also a BB cream. This is my first BB cream. What I found out about BB cream is that it can act as a make up base and foundation. Save all the hassle!

with SPF 30 so can save on using sunblock too.
gonna start using this week!~

On a side note, have been going to Alexandra Hospital for the past few days for FYP.
Tiring but meaningful.
Hope to score well for FYP and efforts will be paid off!

my group of friends and I went cycling at East Coast Park on thurs.
But the sad thing is, all the 3 gals were bruised after a 3 hour cycling non-stop from ECP to Changi Airport.
The route was really long..
and I had quite a bad experience when going up slope, its either I cant cycle up because of the lack of strength, or is it just too difficult for me? I dont know. I can cycle well, but accidents are bound to happen.

What happened that day was, when we were cycling back, on our way back to East Coast, I did not brake in time to avoid that bumpy concrete that was in front of me. I wanted to avoid the 2 lamppost lookalike that was getting in my way, but in the end, knocked against the concrete that was beside it, and I practically flew out of my bicycle and "thump!", my whole left leg is covered with superficial bruises.

Not only that, 5 minutes after it happened, my friends were of course all in front of me because I rode slowly instead to avoid any more injuries. But the worst thing has to happen. I scratched my toes against the concrete when I wanted to avoid this biker who was speeding towards me. Natural reaction. And the pain was really so unbearable.

Thank God I Arnold stopped and gave me some tissue to stop the bleeding. It was still painful but I had to bear it. =(
Arnold decided to ride behind me to prevent any more falls to happen to me because my legs were quite wobbly and there isn't much time left for us to ride back to return the bicycle. We were just on the dot when we reached the bicycle rental shop.

The worst thing was, we lost Yin Fong. We practically didn't know how come we lost her and thought she was just behind Benjamin, who was the first to reach the bicycle rental shop. When we got back and questioned him, he said he didnt see her and we tried phoning her but to no avail. Oh gosh! We were a little panicky and afraid that she might lost her way.

15 minutes later, the unexpected thing happened. She came back with a guy riding behind her.
Why is someone stalking her?
It's not a stalk.

It's because..
Yin Fong was seriously injured because that inconsiderate guy banged into her bicycle and she practically fell on her nose.
I wanted to demand for medical fees but Yin Fong stopped me and the guy asked her to call him if anything bad happens.
My dear Yin Fong lost his number. I should have gotten his number into my hp at that point of time.
She went for a hospital checkup and now, still recuperating.

Our injuries are nothing compared to hers.

I organized this trip but did not instruct the rest to ride all the way to Changi Airport.
The one leading the route was Ting Fang and her cousin, and we made ourselves very clear not to ride till there anymore.

Its painstaking after I saw what happened to Yin Fong.
She's my best friend after all..
It's like someone is tearing one part of my flesh away.
=(

the essential in everyday hair treatment~

Just bought this after some recommendations and praises for this product. Gonna use this tomorrow and see the after effects of my hair. My hair seriously needs some moisturizing! Hope this product will improve the condition of my hair and I will definitely recommend to others if I do feel that its worth buying.
There are two ranges, the nuance airy and the rich premier.
Probably after using this, will consider the other one. Just to try. Will see..

I'm engaging myself in school activities this holidays and went to two hospitals to have an educational visit. Hmmm. Still prefer the pharmacy compared to the laboratories in hospitals. I have my reasons of course. Will want to continue in the pharmacy course after getting my diploma, and there is already a school that I have in mind. I'm thinking of attending more workshops this holidays, organized by SAS(School of Applied Science). It's so bored staying at home and I do not want to rot.

Talking about rotting. I visited my dentist last friday and he told me I will need to extract two wisdom teeth at the back of my lower jaw, and you guys know how expensive it can be to extract one, it cost around $500 with one extraction. He adviced me to do it within the next few years as it wouldn't be so painful when I'm still young, if I'm going to do it in my thirties, its gonna be more painful. Probably will do it within the next two years. If I don't extract them at all, the two molars will rot. He said; rot!!

Talking about today; went to novena hoping to get formal wear for sis because she will be starting her attachment at a bank next monday, but to no avail. Novena is not a place to shop.
totally nothing. Hop down to AMK hub instead and had some finds. Hope she's satisfied with her buys. =)

went to second aunt's place at my paternal's side. We had louhei and a table for the mahjong session. I just looked. didnt play. I dont like gambling.

went to my uncle's place at my paternal's side.
and there was a lot of guest.
they also hired a family of malays to prepare food for us. didnt take pictures of them though..
and there was also lion dance, similar to 2 years back when we visited their place during CNY.

Bodyworlds + CNY shopping!

went to bodyworlds exhibition on the 23rd of January.
I'll just let the pictures do the talking for now.

The exhibition is really good. Everything seems so real. The intricate details about our body parts really amazes me. I think it took quite some time for them to collate all the parts together and present it to us.

I also particularly liked the animals that were shown, although their body parts were not shown, the animals like giraffe, reindeer and horses were presented to us in a real life image. The giraffe especially, they actually sliced their body parts into pieces and laminated their body parts and showed it to us. Amazing piece of work.

I really liked looking at those anatomy of the human being. There are different body parts, that carries different functions and those functions are so important that if one function cannot be carried out, it will implicate the whole body system and thats how different illnesses come about.

Looking at all these make me realise how precious our life is and how God created everyone of us in a special way. There are so many body parts that makes us unique as a person and we should treasure it and not overlook the unhealthy lifestyle of our eating habits. Know our limits and control our diet.

I have some other cross stitches that are done by me and given away to people to appreciate them for what they have done in my lifes, didnt take pictures of them, but there was one that I spent a lot of time on it and I gave it to my aunt. It's a bag with pooh and piglet on it. I quite liked it myself too.. =) and I started doing since 2008 and my first work was given to a singaporean singer, but I shall not name who to keep it confidential. Im in the midst of doing a precious moments cross stitch handphone pouch. Thinking of giving it to Shannon since she likes precious moments.. =)

Genting Trip(Day 3 and 4)

Day 3(02Jan2010)

I woke up quite late on day 3. Was planning to go to outdoor theme park to play but the weather forbid us to go. So instead, went to mushroom garden to have lunch.

While we were on our way there, it was raining and it was of course a little more colder. During the lunch, I was quite distracted because of two cats. I am quite afraid of cats because of how they look like, to me, they seemed quite fierce and unfriendly, not like dogs who are more frie

ndly and loyal towards you. What they did was that they kept running here and there looking for food. So I have to raised my legs up so as not to accidentally touch their fur.

I prefer the dishes that we had when we went to mushroom garden for the first time, it was much better, probably the dishes we ordered previously was much more delicious I guess.

Thereafter, went for a little shopping at First World and mum got me and sis one pair of shoes each. Mine is in mustard and hers is formal shoes because she's in banking and finance and hence sometimes have presentations in school that might need her to wear formal. We also got dad two Renoma polo shirts that only cost ringgit 36 each which is 14SGD.

We headed down to starbucks so I can check my emails and reply to them asap since I brought my laptop along and I ordered mocha frap tall which cost ringgit 13.15 inclusive of GST. Stayed there for about 1 hour and left and headed back to the hotel to rest and also study for my upcoming UT. There was this super idol show by taiwan and only a few of the contestants managed to make it to the next round.

Our dinner was at 好友记 at Genting Hotel and the food was only so-so. Didn’t take pictures of the food, but we had roasted duck, some soup-forgot what soup was that, xiao-longbaos, jiao zi, kailan, tofu with minced meat and black sauce. Their service rate wasn't good probably because there were a lot of people hence their speed was kind of slow.

We had to exchange size of the polo shirts from the Renoma retail shop so we made our way to First World because Dad wanted a bigger size; and mum bought magnum and cornetto ice cream for the three of us.

Ended the day with the movie Hotel for Dogs in my laptop.

Day 4(03Jan2010)

Woke up at around 730am to leave Genting early so as to avoid the jam at around 6pm as

according to Dad.

The weather was bad, fog was thick and raining heavily so we had to leave at 10am ins

tead.

Reached home at around 4pm.

Gonna study smart for my pharmacology ut 3 already, didn't do well for the 2nd ut. =( Need to understand all the facts right. I cant wait for next Saturday to come! The five of us, Benjamin, Donald, Candy, Yin Fong and myself are going to BodyWorlds! It's a school's trip so we had to pay around 10bucks for admission. I will update more about it next time. Hopefully can take pictures.

Genting Trip(Day 1 and 2)

Day 1 (31Dec2009)

My family left house at around 8am but had to U turn back while on the way to the checkpoint because dad forgot to bring his jacket down. As we know, Genting is quite cold especially at night and that is why he has to go back and get it, but fortunately we were just on our way to toa payoh, not too far from our place and had to spend like another 30mins extra just to get back to home to get his jacket, sis Hazel went up too and I asked her to bring along my sunscreen, forgetful me forgotten to put it in my bag. Sunscreen is so important so must bring! We sat in the car like about 6 hours before we reached there.

It was already 3pm when we got there and we slacked a little and waited for dad and mum to come up to go for dinner together with my aunt at about 630pm. We went to Ying Hua Gong and had some chinese dishes. I did not take any pictures of the dishes because they were just some common chinese dishes. What we had were fried fish with vegetable, tofu with mix variety of dishes, kai lan, Sichuan cai tang, chicken-those they steamed and they were quite tender and also ostrich meat-this was great! Haa.

The desserts that were served were peanut paste, I had quite a few spoonful and mum had to finish the rest for me because they were too sweet. Other than that, sis had guilingao, dad had mango pudding and aunt had mango sago. Theirs seemed nicer than mine, should have ordered the guilingao myself.

Before going back to the hotel, we went to starbucks to check out some of their coffee and tea but sis didn’t want to have any because she scared cannot sleep. I'm a person who can sleep with coffee or tea but we wanted their internet connection as sis had her ipod touch and I brought my lappy along but we wanted to rest and went up to catch some tv programs first.

So to end off the day, we counted down in my aunt's hotel room because she claims from there can see fireworks, but the fog was so thick that we couldn't really see them so in the end, had to run out along the corridor to view it at the end of the corridor, but can only see a little. Still, Singapore's fireworks is better, because no fog and can also see certain shapes rather than just the normal round ones.

Not so good fireworks because of the fog.

Day 2(01012010)

We stayed at the First World hotel clubroom at the top level, 24th so basically we had free breakfast at a place that served free breakfast till 11am and woke up quite early for it, we went there at around 8am and after that, we went back to the hotel and rested for awhile and packed up to leave for Genting Hotel as we will be staying there for another two nights. My auntie booked First World Hotel for the very first night to see fireworks basically.

Waited for awhile to check in as we have to wait for our auntie to pack and walk all the way from First World to Genting Hotel which is quite a distance. While waiting, I went to have a scoop of Baskin Robbins's Frolick in the flavour of Blue Raspberry. It's quite nice and in awhile, my tongue turned blue. LOL.

Once we entered the hotel, there was a nice fragrance that I think the hotel staff sprayed and we actually felt that Genting Hotel is much cozier than First World Hotel.

Had lunch at the Pizza Café at Genting Hotel and the bill amounted to 93++ringgit. It was quite fulfilling and we had to take away a little because we couldn’t finish.

I spend most of my day 2 in Genting studying because I have two understanding test to handle right after my trip. So I spent some time studying and also relaxing while sis used my laptop to watch two movies, Astro Boy and also Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Took these two movies from my brother because I know she will watch these kind of movies.

While she was watching those movies, I slept for awhile because I was quite lethargic after studying for awhile.

Dinner was spent in the hotel with fried rice and hor fun. Not room service, but mum took away for us.

will be blogging on day 3 and 4 after my genetics UT on friday.

Year 2010 resolutions!

1) To be able to score above 3.0 GPA by end of semester 1 in year 3.

2) To make more money in my online business.

3) To build closer ties with friends, although we are very close already, but more can be done. =)

4) To be consistent in my bible reading and finish reading the bible by the end of the year. (although have already finished reading the bible several times, but consistency in bible reading will help me to grow in my spiritual life.)

5) To check out the different private universities about Pharmaceutical Science or Pharmaceutical Management courses and set a route and work towards my goal in entering the university. (now contemplating to either SIM or PSB academy.)

6) To also attend all gatherings on outings on my paternal side of the family, to build up closer relationships with my cousins and aunties.

7) To supportive in friend's decisions. No matter what kind of decisions that they make, sometimes not in my favour, I will still support them no matter what.

8) To honour and also obey my parents. I am a filial girl, but I just want to set this resolution, to maintain it. =)

9) To be consistent in my studies, to prepare for my UT at least 2 to 3 weeks before it, so that I won't be panicky. <-- Have been sticking to this last year and also want to maintain this resolution, so results will be better, GPA will go up and hopefully can fulfil resolution (1).

10) World Peace.

11) To curb on my spending on clothes. I can control my spending limit okay! =) but sometimes just want to pamper myself a little and my favourite is buying clothes, shoes or bags for myself, Haha.

12) To be more tech savvy.

13) To fulfil my wishlist -- Hopefully some nice people will fulfil them for me, got some previous items has been fulfilled already, like the bible. I love my new bible! Thanks Shannon. =)

14) To go to Universal Studios in Singapore by this year hopefully.

15) Hope brother can earn more money in his insurance business.

tennis game.

had a tennis game two weeks back on a wednesday, 2 days after the start of my holidays. we had fun, joy and laughter while playing and I was playing with 2 newbies in Tennis. Only me and Glendson played tennis before but my skills and his seem not to correlate when we were playing together, either he hit too hard or I can't catch his ball, because I run not fast enough. I had to take my shoes off because they were giving me blisters, pain pain!

He even had a training ball which he bought for $18 for the newbies to practise their swing.
But I started off with playing with his girlfriend, Sheryl first.

All in all, we had fun! but too bad I had to leave first to get my sister her lunch before she goes for her exam and I had to bid goodbye to them, but during that time, we were playing table tennis. and the two tables beside us, I think they are from the school team and their skills are superb! Their coach were there too and even joked a little with us.

Glendson went to book 2 tennis courts and also 1 table tennis table in RP. More games next time! =) I think I also have to learn how to book the tennis courts online so I can play more with my friends.

Christmas Events 2009

19 oct, Sat.

went to town with the poly friends I usually hang out with. These are the group of people that never fails to ask me out for lunch in school everyday. Thanks for the lunching time peeps, really treasure those times that we share, and those countless encouragements that you guys gave me, to spur me on whenever I feel so tired especially this semester since it's a five day week for me, and I havent skipped a lesson till now, praise the Lord for supplying me strength.

So what we did on that day?

We had starbucks! Dark cherry mocha. Must try! =)

ooh.. I totally love the lightings inside the christmas tree.. located outside Ion.

we even took neoprints in a group of 6, some of the different neoprints are with the rest of the group.

We were walking and walking till our legs got so tired, and we wanted to settle down for dinner, but 313 somerset had some shops still not opened, and we had to walk to orchard central and settled for ajisen fried rice for the 4 of us and 2 had ramen. We ended the day by walking to dhoby ghaut mrt and trained back. but on the way there, we saw some "weird" people who were walking to dhoby ghaut for some performance. and Donald actually took pictures of them. Lol.

20th dec, Sunday

had BBQ party for christmas at my aunt's bungalow.

and we played games.
this is one of the games we played whereby both partners is blindfolded and has to feed the banana into the person's mouth within the shortest time possible. It was frigging funny.

and cousin Nikki dropped the banana when she was supposed to stuffed it all into cousin Andrea's mouth.

we also played other games like folding and standing on newspapers and the newspapers have to be folded into 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16 and so on till the two people who can stand the longest wins a magazine worth $10! and also guessing game in which the person who is suppose to describe the word to you without using words in association and the team who lost are suppose to finish up the food, and my team lost by a mark. it was so close!~ we also used skype to communicate with my cousin who is overseas with her husband and is pregnant! 4 months I think, congrats cousin Xiuxiu.

had a BBQ party cum gathering at mentor's Julian place. A time to celebrate christmas with the NDP peeps! Havent seen them for so long because I havent been attending the post NDP program as Im quite tied up in school.

- Going through memories, whether is it bad or good, to reminise some of them and learn from bad mistakes and not repeat them and if they are good memories, it will be planted in my heart and how I could improve on the good memories that I've given my friends.
- It is also a time of giving, sharing and appreciating people that has caused an impact in my life.

I'll be having my medical technology and pharmacology tests next week, one after the other. Hoping to score As for both UTs. Have been staying back and revising pharmacology with Jeremy, my mentor for certain modules. I told him if I can get A surely will treat him with drinks. Really thank him for staying back with me and answering my queries. He really can make me understand better compared to my facilitator in that module. She speaks so soft, expecting everybody's ears to catch every soft spoken word she says, torturing us! =(

Will be quite busy with several outings with friends during the mid dec holidays. Hope all of us will have fun and make full good use with the holis! Saw the NDP motivators yesterday, so sorry, cant join you guys as I have a dinner outing with my family, see you guys on the 18th!

Christmas is coming. And I want to attend christmas service in Trinity. Hopefully I can go!

I'm having my UTs these 3 weeks and I'm done with 3 of them. 2 more to go. Really praying hard that genetics UT will be manageable. I had 3 UTs in a week and I kept complaining to my mum that I was really tired after school. RP works on a basis that you have to be in school the whole day. Like 915am-4pm. So normally when I get back, it's already 5pm. I hope this semester will end soon. 5modules=5days a week in school and it's really hectic.

Genting Trip has already been confirmed. I know my friends who are reading this will be saying, "huh? again!!?" but I had no choice but to go as there's free lodging and mum doesn't allow me to stay in Singapore alone. Will be heading there on new year's eve. Heard that there will be 15 minutes of fireworks when counting down to new year. Hmmm. Sounds great. Another thing is, I have to go there and study for 2 of my UTs which falls on the 4th and 5th of Jan. I will only be back on 3rd Jan. I will plan my time well when I'm there.

Dad's birthday on wed. 4th nov. As usual. Dinner's out. Thai food's great! and at a affordable rate too. $48 for 5pax. It depends on what you order. These are some that we ordered. And it was sis who treated us for this meal. My turn next!! lol.

I remembered telling you guys in my older post that I enjoy having chocolates. And not just the normal chocolates, but GODIVA's. I heard from my friend that it's kinda expensive. And if you know me well enough, I won't spend so much on food. My aunt knows that I love chocolates and she always brings GODIVA's chocolates to me. Thanks to her for that. =)

btw, mum just came back from Hapchai not too long ago and she got me some cosmetics and skin products! I love the smell.. Its from Oriental Princess and it works tremendously well.
I applied the acne gel as I was having a few zits here and there and awhile later, the zits got smaller. coolsome!

what I've been up to..

School has since started and I'm into my first week. Everything seems fine, just different classmates everyday but I thought it would be better this way. Making more friends and getting to know people better sounds good too. And not the usual 4 day week for me, but 5 days. 5 modules. I love genetics though it's my elective!

Had 2 birthday celebrations this week. Firstly was mum's whose birthday falls on 7oct. We had a simple dinner at 金隆 located at bedok. We wanted to go to blk84 but it was under renovation, so we went to the other side and was hoping 天外天 had opened but it didnt. It was quite dampening of the mood and 金隆's food was just so-so. We always had discounts at 天外天 as my mum knows the owner.. and their food is so much better than 金隆's. I bought mum a cake! sweet secrets.

The next birthday celebration is Yin Fong's, whose birthday falls on the same day as my mum's. I couldnt have dinner with her on the actual day itself as it happens to be my mum's so I had dinner with her the next day instead. Together with Jessica and 2 NDP peeps, we had dinner at the Pepper Lunch, my first time there and it gave me a good impression. Didnt bring my camera along! Ah.. so no pictures!

Just finished packing all the bomber jackets and had them mailed yesterday. Hope the gals love it as much as I do(although I didnt get it).

Mum just went to Hapchai(thailand) on friday morning and I'm still waiting for her to come back. Hope there will be alot of goodies later. I wanna go BKK! Hope mum will plan it to go together with my paternal side of the family. She has been talking about it. End of the year perhaps?

Dinner at The Manhanttan Fish Market at Marina Square on Monday evening. It was a great time of catching up with the girlfriends and the food there was great too. We even had some laughs with the waitress serving us and yes, their service rate is excellent. Will definitely go back there again.

I've found someone who is interested in my polaroid camera! Hope this owner will treat it well and make full use of it. Though I bought this camera without using it as the films are costly, but somehow I've grown a little attached to it. Gonna leave it tomorrow and pass it to that someone who probably will use it and take nice nice pictures!

I will be saving and scrimping for the rest of this year. Gonna get a good mobile when my plan expires next year. Nokia or Sony Ericsson? I'm thinking of getting Nokia.. Any opinions?

caught the time traveller's wife last wednesday.. together with Shannon at The Cathay. The show was kinda long.. 110mins.. but it was kinda touching too..I might want to get the book too. We also went for a small shopping spree after the show. And we spent like an hour plus at cotton on's. Then in the end, we only managed to get leggings for ourselves. Kinda funny as we were trying a few pieces of clothings and went to the fitting room a couple of times. They were actually having a 50% off selected items, but their sizing are either too big or doesnt suit us, else we find the price not too worth it for certain pieces. I found what I wanna get for the longest time at Plaza Sing!! At an affordable price too.. =)

Last thurs, 17th september was sister's birthday..

We went for duck tours, "quack quack" as we had 3 free vouchers.

Let me share my experience on the duck tours..

it was low tide during that day..

couldnt take pics with sis as she was sitting 2 seats in front of us.. as we were the last to get onto the "vehicle".

we could see the whole of marina bay floating platform.. how colourful!

It was actually kinda boring as the whole journey takes about 50mins-60mins..

But thereafter, we celebrated sis birthday..

went to Swensen's to celebrate her birthday..had dinner there too..

my baked Salmon and mushroom rice was.. not that appealing..

but.. Hope she enjoyed her birthday!!

Marina Barrage.

My family decided to go Marina Barrage on a saturday evening. I quite like the place there, it brings me closer to nature and while walking along the long pathway, it brings the family a little more closer with conversations. I've always like greenery and nature and would love to explore more parts in Singapore which fulfils what I expect. The sense of closeness makes the heart warm.

and we also went to look at the purpose of building marina barrage.. quite interesting though..

and went to Bedok84 for dinner, satay, bbq chicken, bah chor mee, stingray, oyster egg(o lua), and ngoh hiang hei pia.. yums yums!! =)

Shannon and I went to Flea Titans today! Lol. Dempsey Road is really secluded. We had to take cab out when we are done window shopping there. We totally didnt buy anything down there as the clothes are are out of trend for most stalls. I remembered her telling me, we forever cannot follow the trend as it keeps changing and I totally agree with her. Just wear what you feel that is nice and appropriate and most importantly, that you feel comfortable in. I agree no more! We hop onto AMK hub thereafter and I finally got my wanted sandals. Shall take pics with it soon! She gotten herself polo shirts and other stuffs too. And we reckoned that AMK hub is a better shopping paradise compared to the flea. The weather was so scorching and we had to walk quite a distance to take the shuttle bus there.

We decided to indulge ourselves with Anderson's Ice Cream..

I love Anderson's Ice Cream. She couldnt finish hers though..

I enjoyed my day and am looking forward to wednesday.

Movie time!! =) Anyway, I just watched Jonas Brothers: The concert in experience and also Evan Almighty this week. mio tv had the Jonas Brothers movie on channel 316 so I watched it.. Mum just cancelled SCV as they keep increasing their price for nothing.
The movie Evan Almighty was very touching. Genesis 6:14. Noah's Ark. A great show of faith.

Everytime I do online shopping at home, most of the time I want to get something because the dresses or tops are so nice.. but I always ask myself, do I really need them? My dad always say you should sell and not buy because I still have 3 toyo boxes of clothes which have not been sold yet. I've already lowered their prices and its not as easy to sell as you can think of. Looking at those models posing blogshop clothes, I always have the urge to get 1 or 2 of them. http://daintycloset.livejournal.com is clearing her stocks, at really low prices, do support if possible! =)

In the end, sometimes if I really don't want to buy, I will never get any for a few months. If I really want to get, I can get maximum 5 pieces at one go. Right now my aim is to scrimp and save as much as I can and my friends can get shock as to how I can survive without my atm card in my wallet. I can. It hasnt been in my wallet for very long already.

I wont be getting a driving license. I thought I wanted to get it but when I missed my basic theory due to some circumstances which are unpredictable, I asked myself am I really sure I didnt want to get and yes, I wont be getting anytime now, unless I can afford to buy a car next time then I might really consider. I dont want to use dad's car to drive. It quite scary before he changed his car to the Toyota one. When me and mum were in his mazda car one day after having lunch at muthu's curry at Little India, he met with a small accident..

The person in front of him suddenly came to a halt without any signals. Dad was talking to me and didnt realise that the person suddenly braked. And so, the bumper of the front car was a little damaged. I was a little pissed at that time and my face turned black as I didnt thought dad was at fault too. He just didnt realise when they came to a halt. Our car had a few scratches in front. And a few days after the incident happen, another thing happened too.. I remembered this happen around CNY this year..

I smelt something very pungent while dad was driving us home. It came from the front of the car. When we reached home, I came down of the car and realised that there was smoke coming out from the front. Our 8 year old mazda has died on us that day. This was the last time I sat on that mazda.
Dad changed car thereafter and we are happy with our toyota so far. Sis has been telling mum that she wants to take her driving license. She's officially 18 on 17th september and so I guess I might have to book her basic theory for her soon. We'll see how it goes.

There are alot of things going in my mind recently. Like what will I be doing after I graduate from poly. I might just want to work full time and study part time after I graduate. Hopefully, to continue studying Pharmacy after I graduate. I dont think I want to go to NIE to further my studies. You have to actually spend 6 years in teaching if you were to study in NIE. Thats long! I just want to fulfil my dream of becoming a qualified pharmacist in hospital, or maybe to sell medicines to industries or to do research in laboratories? We'll see how.. I still have 3 semesters to complete.

About church. I hope I can go back once this christmas. Mum has been really strict about this. She hopes I can complete my education in poly then she will allow me to go back. Now I just have to prove to her that I can do well in poly and she will allow. I've been pushing myself this semester and will be pushing myself harder next semester. I just wanna do well so I can bring honor to them and also glorify my Father in heaven. " As you sow, you will reap! "

Prays that everything goes well for me and when troubles or problems come as they sometimes will, lets lift up our troubles to the Lord because He cares for us. A door will be open whenever we knock.

3rd day of the week.

accompanied Shannon to bugis as she wanted to go to Bugis street to get some stuffs. All the cheap bargains are there. One thing I like about bugis is the variety that they have there, and their prices are all reasonable, but the other thing that I don't is that the material there can be quite rough for some quality of their clothes.

5th day of the week

at Mind Cafe. We went there to play some board games and the good thing about that cafe is you get free flow of drinks at $5++/pax from 2-6pm. We met up at 3pm at bugis mrt and headed there. Its quite near the NLB, at a small area in the alley. The NDP peeps also celebrated Darren's belated birthday.

7th day of the week

I just came back from expo. Sis and mum plus me went to John Little's expo sales and we also went to the food fair there. I think mum spent around 20bucks on food from the food fair.. we got some great buys from John Little too.

zzz. I need to do something about my hair. Gonna rebond it soon. I dislike natural curls.

Genting.

day 1

arrived at Genting at around 8pm. Had dinner at Genting Malaysia Berhad Pizza Cafe, I had pasta while sis and mum had pizza. The pasta was up to my standard. Went to takeaway KFC as sis was still hungry. The hotel that we stayed in was bigger than expected as we were staying at the clubroom at First World Hotel. As told by others, the standard room in First World Hotel is very small. We went back to the hotel for the KFC but the TV programs there are very boring.

day 2

woke up quite early and went to have breakfast at the 24th storey of the hotel. Went shopping after that and bought some hair accessories. Went into the casino and was hoping someone was singing but the time they normally sing is during the evening to night time. I was too early. Had a nap after that. Dinner wasn't as good as I've expected. The Pizza Hut there isn't as good as the one here in Singapore. One regular pepperoni cheese cost RM24, which is so expensive! Furthermore, the taste was a bit bland too. We spent quite a sum on food for takeaways during lunch and dinner. Sis was sick and poor me and mum have to buy takeaways while she rested in the hotel.

day 3

I slept quite a lot on day 3. We didn't have breakfast. Went to mushroom garden to have lunch and the chinese food there is not bad. We had to take a mini van to the mushroom garden. Sis was taken ill on day 2 in genting and of course, she doesn't feel like playing the outdoor theme park with me so I felt obliged not to play too. Hope the one in Singapore in the future would be better than the one in Genting. We went to have ice cream at Baskin Robbins in the late afternoon and it's quite nice though not as good as Ben and Jerry's. Dinner at the Shanghai restaurant at First World but the service quality there is really bad. We have to wait like 10 minutes for their menu and food there isn't good as well.

day 4

had breakfast at the 24th storey again. Watched TV for awhile(they were playing some Singapore drama) and headed back to Singapore. Reached home at around 5+pm.

I just collected 5 dresses yesterday. Indulged myself with some retail therapy online. Weets! As it has been awhile since I've shopped online. Went botanic gardens with Shannon yesterday and we went town to window shop. Town is so bor-ing now..

I'm leaving singapore tomorrow for a short getaway to Genting. Again! Haha. I really love the weather there. And I'm officially 21 so I might just go into the casino? But no playing I guess. Just wanna go in to hear some amazing voices they have there. Some have really great voices. Blogger is giving me problems and I cant post pictures. When will this problem be resolved?

caught UP! with Shannon on tuesday night after school. It was a great movie and had a enjoyable time with her. had some shopping with her over at ion orchard, and yes, the things there are super duper expensive! Shannon got herself 2 clothings from wisma and I hope she likes both.

but the movie made my day though!

my hp is spoilt. am wondering should I get a new one or wait till the plan ends then get a new one as it will be at a cheaper price if it were to be with plan. I need a spare phone. I don't feel like repairing the lousy w910i. too many problems it has given me and now its the worst problem. 3 main buttons arent working. wheres my old charger?! maybe going back to dig out my old phone and use it for 8months before the plan ends.

I'm quite emotional this week.

went shopping with Shannon dearest on sunday. went to three places. expo first to collect my skirt from one blogshop owner as she was having a flea there. thereafter, hop on to tampines to shop and both of us bought a pair of shoes each. Shannon had a bad shoe day, her shoe tore apart while she was walking. but she told me that she bought the shoe from malaysia and cost less than 10 bucks, so both of us went century square's DMK to get shoes. Hers was a neon pink slippers. a totally in love with Pink gal like her.. I guess alot of her stuffs are all pink in colour. I got a covered shoe in denim colour. I love denim colours, whether is it light or dark blue. I didn't manage to take a picture with the all day shy babe. =( guess she's just to shy to appear in my blog. Hmmm.

chilled out at starbucks and had my favourite ice mocha frappucino.

Shannon wanted to spend more time with me as I told her that the next meetup session would be during my september holidays as I need to prepare for UT3 this week onwards. city hall is our next destination. and we were quite playful. I didn't want to try on these dresses in zara, but she pulled me to the fitting room and we tried several dresses together. but of course in different fitting rooms! Lol.

I thought the dresses are nice, but didn't want to overspend.

I paired two dresses together.

I had a great great day with her.

After a long day at the platform..

NE2 show was awesome! But at the same time, made my hands real painful. It's probably due to the numerous balloon sculpting I've done for the primary 5 kids. Looking at their energy level, I was totally stunned to see a long queue waiting for the each and every balloons to be done up by me. Though I'm not a professional balloon sculptor, but I can say that I enjoy every moments during the rehearsals. To mingle around the P5s during the NE shows are also quite enjoyable. Its a sense of satisfaction once we are done with the dance performance(which is the first segment of the show) every week. Some photos of combined rehearsals:

btw, I've mentioned that it was a new experience for us during the NE1 show. This is because of the rain! When it was the beginning of the chapter 10, it suddenly rained. It was a downpour. Everyone was drenched in the rain. But the little cute P5s took out their umbrellas and ponchos but we motivators, still had fun getting drenched in the rain.

The sad thing is there were a few people who fell down and also fainted last week. They had to call the the medical team and I think 1 or 2 were sent to hospital. But glad to see them back with us this week.

And I really thank God that I manage to sustain up till now. I was only absent for a week for rehearsal at college east as I was ill that day, but I've learnt alot of things these few weeks and I can say that I never regretted joining this event although it's super tiring. Having to go out at 11plus am and reaching home at 10plus to 11pluspm every saturday is taxing.

An additional point is also to spend more time with Yin Fong during this period of time as both of us are quite busy. We took this event as a time to spend with each other and also to complain about the dislikes or to praise each other whenever we see that one has done well in certain aspects. I'm glad. I've got 2 tickets given to me for NE3, and Yin Fong gave me 1 of her ticket as I gave her 1 ticket of mine for combined rehearsal. A one to one exchange too. I just want to see them happy. My girlfriends. One of the most important part and parcel of my life.

Gonna meet Shannon next sunday! Retail therapy. Last day of GSS!

Harbourfront with the lovely!

Took some time off and accompanied my girlfriend to vivocity. Initially, we walked aimlessly. To us, we can hardly find anything that we wanna get because of the price. It's too steep! Walked and walked, walked till harbourfront centre macs and we both grabbed a bite there. I love their garlic chilli. haha! =)

after some chit chatting and catching up with her, we headed back to vivocity. I was asking her whether vivo has the shop called diva, which is famously known for their accessories. She said no, but to my amazement, somewhere around forever 21, there's this small area whereby diva is having sales! $3 per item. How good is that? I do not really like what diva has and I'm no fan of them. Lol. I prefer more unique stuff I guess. Handmade etc. Shannon went and joined the crowd and got what she wanted from there and I went over to forever 21 to get my desired ribbon hairband. Got it at 7bucks which is reasonable to me. My hairbands are getting old and a few has to be thrown away soon because their colour is fading and I have one which is going to crack very soon! Lol.

We enjoyed time together spent and sometimes I feel that our hectic schedules make us hard to find time for each other, but I promise I will spend more time with my girlfriends during the one month long September holidays! Sometimes I need time to revise my work at home and also take time to rest as my participation in the NDP09 rehearsals can be quite tiring, as well as spend time with family at home.

I need to start revising for chemistry. The first UT grade was a little disappointing as I screwed the first question up! =( but I do hope I will score well for the next 2 UTs. Yes I will! =)

alot of things. really. had lunch with Clifford the other day, and its great to see that hes doing well. I've been thinking of going back to church. but due to certain circumstances, it's kinda hard for me to go.. but its been a desire for me wanting to go back. I know I need to, but I dont know when my parents will finally say a yes.

Been quarantined for the sixth day already. All I have been doing is e-learning, online shopping(without buying), reading books and watching movies on mio tv. I've caught beverly hills chihuahua and a little of high school musical 3. Gonna complete watching high school musical 3 soon. Started on the book my adult leader gave me, and I dont know why tears streaked down my cheeks after the first chapter. I've realised things that I do not know in the first chapter and I know I should receive breakthroughs in the boundaries that have been stopping me from getting emotionally healed.

wanted to practice yoga. but through this book, I've realised that yoga to some christians is a nono as its actions are in relation to Hinduism. I went to forums and checked and some christians are okay with it whereas others are not. Hmmm, but if you just think that its a healthy sport and not condemn it, I think its okay for the human body to practice it. Mum and sis went to robinsons sale at expo yesterday and got me a book on yoga. Im in a dilemma as to whether I should practice it or not. Will approach my brother for advice.

been compiling notes here and there because understanding test 2 is coming up. but as I went along doing, I feel that sometimes paying attention in class is the most important factor in understanding certain points. I've been paying attention in class ok!~

when you are being asked to be quarantined for a week at home. E-learning has to be done via the learning portal and it isn't fun to be working all alone as RP will allocate groups for us everyday. The reason why I'm being quarantined is quite simple, but I shall not divulge it here to protect RP's reputation.

Changi Beach on Dad's day!

We went picnic! At Changi Beach! But Dad couldnt make it the last minute due to work, hence it was a little disappointing. I had fun riding the bicycle with cousin Michelle though and the breeze there was really good! It has been a long while since I ever ride on the bike and I really appreciate those who took their time down to be there as well.

we stayed there till 8plus. had a little caught up with my cousin and she poured out some woes to me too. It's always good to share. Just hope that she will do well enough for her N levels and get to her desired school. I have been coaching her on wednesdays(since there's no school) and really do hope that she can learn a skill.

I've been having massage sessions. And I'm grateful that the masseur isnt charging me. Call it a blessing. =) I know what my body requires now and sometimes have to abstain from drinking cold drinks. had a small tiff with mum today and she said that I'm cranky. And yes, I have to admit that I am. The time of the month is coming.. Lol. Holidays have been quite bored for me, most days been revising for the two understanding test next week. Hope that I will do well for both! =) been having too much chocolates already. But I'm loving this brand of chocolates. GODIVA. Thanks to my aunt who has been giving them to me. Will put up one of the picture of it. GODIVA is located at citylink. =) rehearsals of NDP09 tomorrow.

me and my girlfriend went to college east for NDP motivator's training. and thereafter chiong out of the school to go to town! It's been a long while since we shopped there! And it was the second day of the GSS, so we decided to head there to see if there's anything we wanted to get.

she was looking for a belt, but nothing caught her eye.
I spent $25 on 3 tees at cotton on! my fav! Their material there is awesome and comfortable! I gave one tee to my sis! =) Will only go there if there's sales.

I'm enjoying all of their training. Though it's getting more and more hectic, it's all worth it.
We have to keep practising their dance steps as we will be performing for the very first segment of the show. I'm crossing my fingers that I will be able to do it well!

had a great birthday! thanks for all the blessings and well wishes!~ thanks for coming to celebrate with me pals. I love you guys all! This will be a memorable one as I'm 21! Fun, laughter, talks and joy I had yesterday!~

Every year as I turn older, my thinking differs, and alot of things has changed in me throughout the years.

Now, after been through alot of things and thinking, I begin to reflect upon the past and sometimes feel that the mistakes I made are silly, but I've learnt lessons from them and will never repeat again.
thanks to my parents for continuing to guide and teach me all these years.

On the day itself, I also went to college east for NDP motivators training. Most probably I'm already in. Means saturdays would be quite tiring and hectic for me. the NE programs are 12noon-1030pm. but thank God that I have a companion. My buddy Yin Fong. This time, Im not going as an audience(which Im always blessed to go almost every year since Im in P3.) but as a motivator. We had our sizes taken for the costume(which is like carebear) and had some icebreaker games. I think RP is really very spontaneous in this event as we are the 1st batch of people who are going there as motivators.

today marks the day that I'm finally out to shop with my sister and mummy. We went to bugis and the first stop was to check out the new mall, Iluma. To my surprise, it was quite empty, probably because a number of shops have yet to start their businesses there. I think banana republic will be there. I love the material of their clothings. We didnt want to eat there so mum wanted to bring us to a shop where they sell xiao long baos as sis has been complaining that she wanted some. We passed by a shop where there are xiao long baos but sis said, " there isnt any waitress serving us" so we left. In the end, we went to Lerk thai.

Their food was okay to me but I didn't like their tom yum. It lacks something but I can't explain. I'm not a food gourmet! We ordered their hor fun which mum ate, and tom yam noodles which sis had; mine was their set lunch which included, beef, fried dumplings, unripen papaya,tom yum and rice. I was full. To me, it was just satisfactory.

Thereafter we went to NLB and had to queue up to tap our cards, think they used their laptops to check our temperature or safety limits as they did not use any thermometer to check our temperature. I wanted to borrow books from Lee Kong Chian Reference Library but I couldn't find any borrowing station there. Then, I approached the staff there and they told me you cant borrow. So embarrasing! haha. It's okay. At least I went through some notes there.

We went shopping at BHG after library and sis got herself some stuffs and she also bought me a new pair of shoes from Muji. A birthday gift. How nice is that? Thanks so much. I hope I can fulfil your birthday wish this year.

im getting motivated.

to be in class everyday. because its the start of year 2 and i'm studying modules which are related to my course already. i really do not like computing maths and enterprise.

the past two days has been hectic, reaching home at 7plus-8plus. making me feel so exhausted. bus trips are getting on my nerves as i take 1hr20mins to reach home. next time, mrt concession. The new circle line will be functioning soon and I will have lesser waiting time and also lesser travelling time. Praise God for that. =)

People has been asking me, when will you be going back to church and stuffs; and I probably will have to say, not in due time. A lot of things happened at home, and I need to be there; not to do things which my family is unhappy about, but do things which they feel its okay too. I will, obey my parents and listen to whatever they say and also sit and listen to whatever valuable lessons that they teach.

Really thank the people who has been always there to guide me when I make mistakes. They never blamed me but they teach me how not to repeat the mistake and move on in life. There are ups and downs and sometimes you just have to let go. No use thinking about it anymore, just move on as everyone will face the similar things here or there.

ever since the RP system changed, lesser lunch time hours and lesser catching up periods with friends already. i know i've been neglecting my closest girlfriends due to heavy workload but i guarantee you guys will see me soon!~
